Пэров именуют по титулу, кот. не является фамилией, но может с ней совпадать; напр., Lord Byron - титул совпадает с фамилией; Anthony Eden, Earl of Avon или Lord Avon; здесь Eden - фамилия, а Avon - титул. Пэром может быть тк. глава рода, т.е. старший в роду, обыкн. по мужской линии.
